Yeah, I'm going to have to pile on and say lousy idea . For example, one of the pawrossds I use is 4 capital letters followed by 4 lower-case letters and one number. I always use the caps lock for the first 4 letters, since those 4 are not all typed with the same hand. You are correct that notifying the user after the fact is bad design, but your solution is worse. A better solution is to notify the user when caps-lock is on, *as he is typing* (because yeah, I sometimes hit caps lock instead of shift by mistake, and I can't even see the little green light on my keyboard).

about Apple, I can't believe shrnaig a folder with other users on the same computer is so complicated that it requires some crazy line of code. Why simply turning on shrnaig on the folder, which is an option, doesn't work at all is beyond me.

am really sorry, I fgorot to mention that one needs to install curl. And http_proxy variable should be set if you are behind a proxy. I don't think its required to be mentioned. Anyways thanks for pointing out.

Went out to Longview today. They have started putntig in a few fence posts along the parking area. Evidently they're going to hang all of the chain link at one time.

I best remember fish cakes with spaghetti and creamed spinach. Oh how I miss H&H on E.86th St. in NYC!
